Tell us about your trip, where did you visit and what did you get up to?
“I went to Narooma to visit some friends. We took an amazing boat ride out to Montague Island to swim with seals and go fishing with local legend Riley Dawson. We caught heaps of fish, dove for sea urchins, and swam in crystal clear water.”
What do you love about The South Coast?
“I love getting into nature and escaping the city. Seeing the pristine coastline that has had minimal human impact is awe-inspiring. The South Coast also has such an abundance of great produce that needs to be celebrated.”
What is so special about South Coast Produce?
“It’s local and seasonal and a chance to celebrate producers from New South Wales. Often as Chefs, we are celebrating things that are far away or exotic, and what a joy it is to celebrate things that grow or swim right on our doorstep.”
What dish are you most looking forward to at our South Coast Dinner?
“I am a sucker for Abalone, so I am very much looking forward to our abalone dish. It is soft with a luxurious mouthfeel and it brings heaps of Umami.”
