Social Diary Talent Agency Lunch

We hosted the Social Diary Talent Agency Lunch at Bopp & Tone.

On Wednesday 3rd July, we partnered with the talented publicist Tiffany Farrington of Social Diary to host Australia’s top talent agents at Bopp & Tone.

Social Diary is a community, subscription based website launched by Tiff in 2005. The platform is a source for professionals in the PR and communication industry to use to obtain products for events, find the whereabouts of celebs, chat to other PR’s and seek help if needed – with the core philosophy of working together, not against each other.

For lunch on Wednesday, it was time for talent agents to come together for an intimate industry lunch hosted by Tiff. On arrival guests were treated to Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz & StrangeLove Lemon Bitter cocktails along with spiced Moroccan eggplant, tuna tartare and rolled beef carpaccio canapés on Wynyard Terrace. Leading into the formalities of the day, the group were seated in our luxe Private Dining Room, sipping on Taylors Wines and enjoying a shared banquet menu including whole snapper with black garlic butter & fried leek, rib eye steak (Brooklyn Valley), spatchcock with smoky paprika, oregano & chilli; and topping it off with a chocolate and passionfruit mud cake to finish.

The hot topic of the day was influencer fraud and the impact technology platform Q-83 will have on the industry by exposing dodgy influencers who purchase their social media followers.

Guests included industry veterans Max Markson (who represents Tziporah Malkah and past MAFS contestants), Sean Anderson (Jodi Anasta and Jennifer Hawkins) and Nick Fordham (Lisa Wilkinson, Nick ‘TheHoneyBadger’ Cummins and Sylvia Jeffreys) and rising stars Cameron Carter, Roxanne Watkins and Simone Landes.
